Hi I’m Kaity

a little bit about me:

I’m a mom to a baby girl and a pup. I’ve been married to the loml for 1.5 years and with him for a total of 8 years. I was born and raised in az. Although my husband and I always talk about living else where, I don’t think I can see us moving out of state. Oregon is one of my favorite places to visit. I enjoy church on Sundays, family days, traveling, and staying in with take out to watch a good movie. My toxic traits are: thinking I need desert with every meal, planning trips 5 years in advance, being center of attention on the dance floor, and hating when other people are late but always ends up being late at least 5 minutes to non important events. You can’t go wrong with a sangria or a ice cold michelob. I’m addicted to tea (specifically Arnold Palmer or raspberry ice tea) and Dr Pepper. A personal goal in life is to live in a custom home with enough room for 3-4 kids to run around. My top business goal is to photography a wedding or elopement in Europe.

let’s get down to business:

Photography was a hobby that turned into a dream career, and wow, I can say I chased after my dreams. If you asked me 5 years ago if I wanted to be a full-time photographer, I would have said I was too scared to take a leap from comfort to take on a job where it’s hard to predict what financial state I would be in. After switching majors 3 different times, constantly being unhappy and crying all the time, I made the decision to leave school for “two semesters” to see if I could make a career out of photography. I’m PROUD to say that was 4 years ago and I have never looked back.

The joy I feel capturing the raw moments is so life-giving. It constantly reminds me how thankful I am for a job I am truly excited about on a day to day basis. The endless amount of times someone has stated that they’ve cried joyous tears because they saw how beautiful or how happy they are from the moments that you, the photographer, captured for them; ya that right there is why I do what I do.

These moments are TIMELESS. And don’t worry, I’ll be there every step of the way making sure you feel comfortable and are having fun.
